Dr. Belinda Chan
Belinda Chan graduated from the Canadian Memorial Chiropractic College (CMCC) in Toronto (2014) as a Doctor of Chiropractic Medicine. She received an undergraduate degree from the University of Western Ontario in Kinesiology. Her passion for health and fitness is not only seen in her academic and professional life but her personal one as well. She is an avid cyclist and has toured across Eastern Canada and through the United Kingdom. She can be seen on weekends wandering the city with her partner and two dogs.
Belinda’s ideal patient is committed to long term wellness and is willing to actively participate in their own recovery. Treatments include a combination of chiropractic adjustments, soft tissue therapy, mobilizations, lifestyle modifications, and rehabilitative exercises. Movement is the key to health, and Belinda’s goal is to help you get there.
Belinda wants to help you move, or get moving, and seeks to make living healthy feel good and achievable.
This session is 45-60 minutes long and includes history taking, a physical assessment and treatment. Treatment duration will often vary depending on time remaining in the appointment.
30 minute follow-up
Treatments are longer than a “typical” chiropractic visit. Belinda’s practice involves addressing the joints and surrounding tissues. You can expect to receive a combination of chiropractic adjustments, soft tissue work, and mobilizations at every visit.
A thirty minute session is her preferred treatment length for most patients. A longer treatment time allows her to work on the main area of complaint as well as the area(s) surrounding it to provide longer lasting relief.
Custom orthotics are cast through The Orthotic Group. Before booking, please double check with your insurance provider for details that may affect your coverage. As of Monday November 23, Ontario is moving Toronto and Peel public health unit regions into lockdown based on the Keeping Ontario Safe and Open Framework. The College of Chiropractors of Ontario (CCO) confirms that chiropractors in those regions are permitted to remain open and continue to practice virtual and in-person care, while continuing to follow PPE and patient safety precautions currently in place.
